A stepfather has smashed his 8-year-old stepson’s finger with a hammer after he stole his 2 cedis.

The information gathered suggests the incident happened at Mayas Deeper Life, a suburb of Weija.

The man identified as Kadri Kaka allegedly smashed his 8-year-old stepson’s finger with a hammer and also beat him up with a wire.

According to the boy, his stepfather carried out the gruesome act over his missing 2 cedis and revealed that on another occasion the man hung him in an uncompleted building as a punishment, putting pepper in his eyes and leaving him there.

The injured boy is currently with local authorities receiving medical attention.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service and residents at Mayas Deeper Life, a suburb of Weija, are currently on a manhunt for Kadri Kaka.
