The Presidential candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has fired shots at the Ghanaian media and the Peace Council.
According to Kofi Akpaloo, the media as well as the Peace Council should be promoting multi-party democracy and not discriminating in the full glare of the public.
Speaking during the signing of the peace pact yesterday 29 November 2024, he stated, “These elections we are all calling for peace, there can never be peace in this country when we keep on doing what we are doing, promoting duopoly, we have to promote multi-party democracy, not duopoly because it will never bring peace”.
“The media is doing it, the peace council is also doing it so how are we going to have a multi-party democracy when you discriminate in the full glare of the public, this is not right”, he detailed.
Kofi Akpaloo further reiterated, “There will be peace when we all go out and vote for Kofi Akpaloo and forget about the NPP and NDC because when you vote for any of them it will not bring peace, the only person that when you cast your vote on that will bring peace is Kofi Akpaloo”.
Ghanaians go to the polls in 8 days to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.
