A communicator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Wonder Madilo has boldly sent a strong warning to the New Patriotic Party ahead of the 2024 elections.

According to Wonder Madilo, if the NPP tries anything silly in the December 7 elections they will not go scot-free.

Speaking of TV3 New Day he stated, “None of us we go sitting down for the NPP to try some of those things they did in the past, it will not happen, that is not to say we want to sacrifice the peace of this country, we are telling them in the face”.

“This time around if the NPP tries anything silly in this election they will not go scot-free, the purpose of the peace pact is not to allow one group of individuals to perpetuate the kind of violence that happened in the last elections”, he stated.

The NDC communicator further revealed the NDC did not sign the peace pact to become fools and just look on for the NPP to do what they want.

“We didn’t sign a peace pact to become fools, we didn’t sign a peace pact to look on so that they do what they want to do, we signed a peace pact so that the sovereignty of this state is protected, that the elections will be done in a free fair manner anything other than that they will meet their meter I tell you”, he reiterated.

Meanwhile, Political parties yesterday signed a peace pact ahead of the 2024 December elections.

In 8 days Ghanaians will go to the polls to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.
