Olive the boy has shared that, what makes people fall in love with his songs quickly and resonate with the lyrics is because he gives them the confidence to talk about the weirdest stuffs in life.
The fast rising musician said in an interview with Jay Gabrah that, the reason people love his songs are just that, he does not talk about normal stuffs so listening to it and being able to sing it gives them the confidence to speak about such stuffs. He explained that, entering the music industry, he realized that people are not able to talk about some things on a normal day, hence his fusion of such into his music.
According to him, singing along a song with lyrics that society does not allow you talk about on a normal day makes it very easy to express them. He cited his “Asylum” song lyrics as one that on a normal day a partner cannot tell the other because, the mere pronouncement of such statements in a conversation may bring a whole lot misinterpretation, but when you sing it in a song, it becomes less harmful.
He further shared that, he is always inspired by other people’s daily occurrences and experiences to write his songs. He also added that thinking about the weirdest things in life also helps him to put out all the songs that are being loved by Ghanaians.
