Ignatius Osei Fosu, the Assistant National Team coach for Sudan has expressed his tactical readiness for the Black Stars Coaching job.
The Black Stars following their recent abysmal performance that resulted their elimination from the 2025 AFCON qualifiers have had various comments and suggestions coming at them. The situation resulted in the dissolve of the management committee amidst high calls for the sack of Coach Otto Addo.
On the other side, the Sudanese side whose 2:0 victory sank the woes of the Ghanaian team more have qualified under the management of two Ghanaians as their head coach and assistant with another Ghanaian as the Goalkeepers trainer.
In an interview, the Assistant coach for Sudan, Ignatius Fosu says he is tactically ready to lead the black stars if the chance comes up. He admitted that even though there is more to be learnt after understudying Kwasi Appiah for the past year as the head coach of the Sudanese team. He mentioned that he believes he has a lot to learn but with his tactical experience he can lead the shattered Black Stars team.
Coach Ignatius Fosu further mentioned that in as much as he feels tactically ready he believes the management of a national team requires more than tactics and therefore that is the only part that will make him lag behind. He stressed that, Player relation management is a key point for every coach’s success in keeping up a strong and formidable national team like Black Stars.
