Leading member of the Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu, is calling on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to develop a dedicated app to tackle pressing national issues, such as illegal mining (galamsey) and the rapidly depreciating cedi.

According to Owusu, the apps launched by the government so far have been ineffective and fail to address the real challenges facing the country.

Mr. Owusu criticized Bawumia for losing touch with the country’s economic realities, arguing that the Vice President has not delivered on his promises to stabilize the economy.

He stressed that the government’s focus on irrelevant technology initiatives is a distraction, and the country needs more concrete solutions.

Owusu also took the opportunity to urge Ghanaians to vote the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) out of power in the upcoming December 7 elections, advocating for the election of Alan Kyerematen as a more capable leader who can address the country’s challenges.
