The battle for who wins more votes in the North intensifies as flagbearer for the NDC John Dramani Mahama asserts that he will defeat his main contender, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,flagbearer for the new patriotic party (NPP) in his own home Walewale.
John Mahama believes the NPP cannot match his party’s development record in the North East region.
During the second day of his tour in the North East region, John Dramani Mahama urged constituents to remember the NDC’s achievements when making their electoral choices.
He addressed the people of Walewale, encouraging them to reflect on the party’s performance in the area.
‘’the people of North East have witnessed the results of both administrations and will make informed decisions come December’’, Mahama stated.
John Mahama further promised to channel more investments into the area if elected.
