Court discharges 4 more Democracy Hub demonstrators

Four (4) more Democracy Hub demonstrators have had charges against them dismissed by the Accra Circuit Court.

This comes after the state decided to withdraw the case.

Individuals released are Cedric Bansah, Emmanuel Offei, Nana Amo Mensah Prempeh, and Thomas Yeboah.

This brings the total number of protesters discharged to 11.

The prosecution has informed the court that new charges had been filed to replace the original ones from September 25.

A total of 53 protesters were arrested during the three-day protest, which took place from September 21 to September 23. Seven protesters were previously discharged on Tuesday, October 22.
