He emphasized that the party will not engage in peace talks until justice is served for the eight lives lost and the violence that occurred, particularly the killing of teacher Silas Wulechemy in Banda.

Speaking at various durbar of chiefs and community engagements at Bui, Bongase and Banda Ahenkro in the Banda constituency, the National Chairman asserted that the reluctant nature of the government in arresting the perpetrators of the 2020 general elections which led to the death of eight innocent souls at Techiman in the Bono region as well as the killing of a teacher in Banda have led to distrust of government and the security agencies.

He vowed that if the NDC comes to power, it will ensure that all responsible for election-related violence are held accountable.
