Renowned Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has offered advice to Ghanaian youth on how to achieve success.

In a Facebook post, he urged his largely youthful fan base to cultivate self-reliance and a strong sense of purpose in life.

Shatta Wale, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah, is one of the Ghanaian artists who has built a successful career through hard work, without the backing of any record label.

Over the years, Shatta has always mentioned how the entertainment industry has been unfair to him yet he remains steadfast in his pursuit to carry himself along because he has a vision to be an influential face African music.
