The EC explained that the presidential aspirants were disqualified from participating in the December 7, 2024, elections due to their failure to correct errors on their nomination forms.

Mr Asamoah-Siaw is praying the court for an order to quash a letter dated September 20, 2024, under the authorship of the EC Chairperson, preventing him from contesting the presidential election.

He noted that not a single error was identified or pinpointed by the EC to adequately inform him and the party of the nature of the error to enable them to effect the possible and necessary corrections.
