The Ashanti regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah has labelled the people of the North as people who are not sensible in an alleged leaked audio.
In a viral allege audio posted by US vlogger Kevin Taylor, the minister is heard said, “The Northerners maybe you people don’t have sense if you get money, you just cashout, then you get up and say your region is in a mess, the northerners who have come down south how much have you send back to your hometown”.
The Ashanti regional minister added Northerners and Rawlings started ruling since 1981 to 2001, the Northerners in Ghana what have they done for the people in the North. He alleged that Instead of John Mahama to use the money when he became president to help the three northern parts, he used the money to build a hotel in Dubai and guinea fowl production which flew away.
“The whole Ghana our property is given to the people of the north to help them, that your nonsense talks. Ashantis and Fante are cocoa farmers but how many of the children have benefitted from scholarship in the country. It is only northerner’s child who go to school for free”. He added in the alleged audio very infuriated.
The minister indicated that the people of the North always vote against the NPP during elections and accused them of destroying things they touch.
