National Cathedral hole turned to “swimming pool”

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday, September 17, hit the streets to express their dissatisfaction with the 2024 provisional voters register.

The Demo, themed “enough is enough” was led by the chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia and some high rank members of the party.

During the demonstration some protestors took a detour to visit the construction site of the National Cathedral and turned the pit created by the Akufo-Bawumia led government into a swimming pool.

Some protestors could be seen swimming in the pit with many others shouting and watching in their NDC party colors.

The National Cathedral project with over GH¢339 cedis spent, commenced in 2020 has been wrapped in controversy with it construction sparking debates in the country.
