I left school because of my friends – Adwoa Smart

Adwoa Smart a Ghanaian actress has revealed she left school because of constant teasing from her friend while in school. 

In an interview the actress disclosed stuff about her early struggles in school, “I stopped going to school because my mates were laughing at me because of my size… It got so bad that I lost interest in going to school so I dropped out”.

“The teachers didn’t help me at all. They were supposed to protect me, but they didn’t,” she lamented.

She also detailed it was beyond her and was very young to decide to transfer to another school. “If it were to be now, I would’ve continued,” she added.

Adwoa Smart is a celebrated figure in Ghana’s movie industry.
