Full list of failed 2024 presidential aspirants

The Electoral Commission (EC) has disqualified notably Bernard Mornarh of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Janet Nabla of the People’s National Party (PNP), and others from contesting in the 2024 elections.

In a statement released on Friday, September 20, 2024, the EC stated the disqualification follows a thorough examination of the candidates’ Nomination Forms, which were filed between September 9 and September 13, 2024.

A review was conducted to ensure that all legal requirements were met.

Twenty-four candidates filed their nominations.

  • Paul Perkoh
  • James Kwesi Oppong

  • Samuel Sampong Ankrah
  • Nii Amu Darko
  • Samuel Apea-Danquah
  • Desmond Abrefah
  • Kofi Asamoah Siaw (Progressive People’s Party)
