A 20 year old, Samuel Obeng, has allegedly beheaded his 8 year old brother, Messiah Akomea in a bush at Kwamo in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
After committing the act, Samuel Obeng returned home from the bush and informed his uncle, Kofi Appiah that he had killed his younger brother.
He claimed that he was manipulated by an evil spirit which made him lure his brother into the bush to kill him.
According to his uncle, he was amazed by the confession and took it for a joke.
“Surprisingly, my nephew led me to the bush and showed me the body of his little brother”.
Mr. Appiah added that, when they were returning from the bush, he made some calls to secure the arrest of his nephew.
“I did not believe that it was an evil spirit that possessed him to do that because he smokes wee and that might have caused him to commit such crime”, he added.
