Constituents of Tamale South, have promised their Member of Parliament (MP), Haruna Iddrisu that he will retain the seat with over 100,000 votes.
According to the constituents, their MP is an individual well liked by all, including members of both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency.
During TV3’s Manifesto Dialogues event in Tamale South, residents came out in their numbers to hail the MP.
One of them described Haruna Iddrisu as a baobab tree. “He is a man who everyone has their side of story about him. This is a man who doesn’t discriminate.”
He described the MP as “an asset to Tamale South and Ghana as a whole. If you look at this man (Haruna Iddrisu), wherever he lives in the country, the ministry he has worked in, he leaves a trademark there.
“So, what I just want to say is that Haruna Iddrisu should just be rest assured, both members of the NPP and NDC we’re going to give him over 100,000 votes. It is not only the NDC who are voting for him, members of the NPP are also voting for him.”
