Media Personnel, Afia Pokua also known as Vim Lady has descended on the NDC for not managing their relationship with their party founder, Jerry John Rawlings when he was alive.
She said the party could have gotten an endorsement from the first President of the fourth Republic if they had managed and resolved all oddity that hanged their relationship. She mentioned that, the NDC could not take care of their own founder so, he found solace in the NPP camp, hence endorsing their candidate, Akufo-Addo ahead of his own party.
According to her, the endorsement of Rawlings towards Akufo-Addo during the 2016 elections is what gave him the historical victory in the country widening the gap with one million votes ahead of Mahama. She added that until the NDC recognizes their founding leaders in their electoral preparations, they will find it difficult to ascertain victory.
She further chided the party for allowing their communicators denigrate elderly people and dignitaries in the country. Even though she commended the communication Bureau of the party for apologizing to the former President Kufuor after Dela Edem’s insult, she still maintained that, the party should be on the look out for insults their communicators hurl at big and respected people in the country.
