Ghanaian alternative musician, Worlasi says the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, must not be praised for his recent proposal to the fight the menace of illegal mining (galamsey).
Dr. Bawumia addressing stakeholders in Upper Denkyira West in the Central Region said his administration will permit registered small-scale miners to make full use of data from the geological survey authority in their work.
“We want to implement something new which is that we would cause the geological survey authority to map the exact location of gold deposits in mining area so that mining will not just be digging from place to place, the miners will know exactly where the gold is,” Dr. Bawumia said.
Ghanaian media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, praised Dr. Bawumia for his idea, dubbing it the most practical solution to galamsey she has heard so far.
Worlasi did not take kindly to this stance by some of these “Ghanaian Celebrities” as he believes they are only kissing a$$. To him, candidate Bawumia is already Ghana’s vice president and “you (Bawumia) are in power-just do the thing.”
So the vise president gave a practical solution to Galamsey and “Ghanaian celebrities” I thought I respected are tweeting about how well he has done.
How well he has done doing what ???
