Popular Ghanaian YouTuber, Wode Maya also known has expressed utmost satisfaction at the design and construction of the newly opened-to traffic Interchange at Spintex.
The Ghanaian Freelance Vlogger who is known widely for travelling across the length and breadth of the African continent to project the developments within could not hide his smiles at the new Flyover. The road which is recorded to be the second longest fly over in West Africa connects commuters from Spintex road to Tema and East Legon, easing up traffic congestion and aiding fast travelling.
The project was commissioned by the President, Akufo-Addo on Tuesday November 19, 2024. In a Facebook post, Wode Maya congratulated his motherland for being able to add the Interchange to it’s number of roads. He also tagged the Interchange as a game changer for him.
The road according to reports began under the Mahama administration where contracts were signed before his government was voted out. The government of Akufo-Addo also emphasized how it was so committed to seeing the fruition of the beautiful edifice come to being in order to help commuters get out of the daily frustration.
To ensure the beauty and designs of the road is maintained and kept off the reach of hawkers and street inhabitants, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has instructed the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly to provide a 24 hour security position to ward off encroachers.
