A Gen Z has labelled President Akufo-Addo administration as a wicked and demonic for making it difficult for people to afford tertiary education.
Speaking on GenZReacts on TV3 one of the young men in sharing his opinion on the NDC’s ‘No Fees-Stress policy’ said, “the impact of this wicked and demonic Nana Addo led administration has made it difficult for people to even afford tertiary education, and so how do we ease the burden? Rather than being very deceitful and promising 4 years of free education, why don’t we start from the bases, so for your first-year tertiary education is free, but beyond that we have put in stop gap measures”.
He added that there are stop gap measure that will help students who can’t pay ones the first year elapsed which is the student loan trust fund which the NDC manifesto promise to revamp making it robust.
The young man further disclosed that the economic interventions established in the NDC’s manifesto, that within hundred days some nuisance taxes like the betting tax and covid tax are going remove will ease the burden.
“ it is a hand in hand measure, ones you are trying to make the economic face a bit more favorable for everybody we are also instituting such measures to make it simple for a lot of people to get access to higher education”, he reiterated.
