Ghanaian political commentator and media personality, Nana Frimpong Ziega, in a heated debate has publicly called for the arrest of social activist, lawyer and leader of Democracy hub, Oliver Barker-Vormawor.
In a video posted on X by UTV Ghana, Nana Frimpong strongly criticized Barker-Vormawor for his recent actions and statements, which he deemed dangerous to national peace.
“Because he thinks he has the support he could take out the car keys from the police vehicle? Who born dog? You could not do this in Jerry Rawlings’ time. Who do you think you are? Do you think we have no men in this town?”he said, questioning the actions of the lawyer who was recently seen taking out the car keys in the police vehicle during the democracy hub protest.
According to him, Oliver’s actions are unacceptable especially for someone who claims to be a lawyer and knows the law.
“This is unacceptable, it’s not good we need to speak against this act. The police have done the right thing by jailing him he really needs to be dealt with by the law because it is becoming unbecoming in this county” he said.
He noted that Oliver’s actions can create civil unrest and political instability in the county hence action should be taken against him to teach and prevent others from doing same.
“The demonstration is for his own interest and not that of the country so I believe he should be jailed and dealt with” Nana Frimpong emphasized.
