The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has said when the wicked rule the people mourn.
According to John Mahama, the present state of Ghana’s economy leaves nothing to be desired hence the need to reset the country on December 7.
John Mahama during his three-day tour of the Western Region called on the clergy who he noted spoke truth to power, he noted the sorry state of development and the anger, and frustration of the people in the Western region.
In a Facebook post, John Mahama wrote, “Listening to our Christian leaders in the Western Region, they spoke truth to power; they reflected the sorry state of development, the anger, and frustration of the people of the region”.
“My assurance is that, “when the righteous rule, the people rejoice”, and that is what I mean when I call for change to reset our country”, he assured.
John Mahama further wrote, “I promise my people that the next NDC administration will revitalize the Sekondi-Takoradi Fishing Harbour, and the railway system and attract more local and foreign investors to the region”.
