‘Wei, 3y3 deputy attorney general!’- Bridget Otoo questions expertise of Deputy Attorney General

Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Bridget Otoo, has reacted to the deputy attorney general’s response on the prosecution of the Democracy Hub protesters.

In a post on X she questioned the competence of the deputy attorney general’s based on her response to the prosecution of the protesters.

Bridget quoted and retweeted a post made by Ghone TV saying,

#StopGalamseyNow #FreeTheCitizens”.

She disclosed how disgusted she feels by the mindset of the attorney general and her deputy for the casual dismissal of citizens’ rights.

Per her post she believes the were people standing up for their country, fighting against galamsey, that has plagued their environment for years and instead of the system be protecting them, they are rather being labeled as criminals.

Just like Bridget, some netizens also disagree with Hon. Diana Asonaba Dapaah’s response on the arrest and prosecution of the protesters and are demanding for their immediate release.
