A former General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Jantuah has said Ghanaians voted for a Nebuchadnezzar.
According to Nana Yaa Jantuah Akufo-Addo and his NPP government think they are better off than Ghanaians and that their wishes are our command.
Speaking on TV3’s New Day, Nana Yaa Jantuah said, “We have voted for Nebuchadnezzar, and we know, Nana Addo and his people, we are in some autocracy, they are Nebuchadnezzar’s, and this one is a simple matter”.
Reacting to the issues in parliament she said, “When Hon. Ocquye decided to take out Asiamah why didn’t the NPP go to the Supreme Court for interpretation, what has changed, it was the same law, the same provision that was used, right now as we sit, and we don’t have an interpretation because I thought when they go to court, they would come with an interpretation”.
“We have people who think they are better than any Ghanaian and their wishes are our command and when they want to do something we cannot caution them”, she noted.
Nana Yaa Jantuah further added that the NPP is always running to the court when they could have sat down and deliberated on the issues in parliament.
