Member of the Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, Oheneba Akosua Safoah (ESQ), says the butterfly movement is the best alternative suited to ease tensions between both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to her, Ghanaians have not been satisfied under the leadership of the NPP and NDC who have taken turns to lead Ghana in the past thirty-two (32) years.
“For the past 32 years we have had both the NDC nd NPP taking turns in ruling the country. But the question is are Ghanaians satisfied? are Ghanaians really being well taken care of? No, that is the answer so how do we move forward?
What we need now is the new energy, the third force to break the duopoly so that at least we can have a little bit of releasing the tension built up over the 32 year period amongst the two parties. So, I believe it is time for change and change is imminent,” she said on TV3’s Ladies Circle show.
Oheneba Akosua Safoah believes that unemployment and the failure of government in executing their policies within their manifesto calls for a change within the nation’s political landscape.
