The Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has Ghanaians need a government that will protect the purse and not a government that steals the purse.
According to John Mahama, the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government promised to protect the public purse, but they ended up stealing the purse and the purse is no longer available.
Speaking to some residents at a campaign platform he said, “A warning to my appointees if you come into office and you do the same things that NPP has done and the anti-corruption institutions are dealing with you that will be your matter, I will have nothing to do with it, we need a government that will really protect the public purse, not a government that will promise protect the purse and steal the purse now the purse is not even there”.
John Mahama further went on to call on Ghanaians to join the NDC in resetting the country.
“The time has come I call on all Ghanaians to rise up let us not lose hope because the NDC is going to come with better governance, we are going to reset the country, economy, and attitudes to make Ghana a better place for the young people”, John Mahama reiterated.
