A video circulating on social media has sparked outrage, showing a distressing scene where patients in a hospital are receiving medical care under less-than-ideal conditions.
Among the footage a middle-aged woman receiving treatment while lying on the floor of the hospital.
The lack of beds has forced several patients to either lie on the floor or sit in plastic chairs while doctors and nurses attend to them.
In response to the video, a social media user expressed frustration on X, writing: “wtf is wrong with Bawumia & this NPP administration, just today, look at human beings receiving treatment on the floor of a hospital because there are no hospital beds. These guys are always using some abstract ‘e-project’ to loot state funds. What nonsense is that?!”
The video has fueled public anger, with many questioning the state of healthcare infrastructure in the country, especially as patients in severe pain are left without adequate resources for proper care.
This has sparked the question where is the agenda 111 hospitals President Akufo-Addo promised in his 2020 manifesto
