The Asantehene, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, has turn down a little girl who wanted to shake him with the left hand.

In a viral video the Asantehene was seen in a Kaftan under an umbrella when he stopped to engage some little children who were waving at him.
One of the kids who can be identified as a girl stretched her left hand try to shake the Otumfuo and was turned down before she was alerted to use her right hand instead.
In Ghanaian culture the left hand is seen as unclean.
