In a sad development, residents of Nyankyerenease in the Kwadaso district of the Ashanti Region were left with no option but to fight fire engulfing a house in the vicinity with sachets of pure water.
Earlier this morning (Tuesday, 29th October, 2024) a house in the area was engulfed in fire. Efforts to reach the Ghana National Fire Service proved futile in the beginning.
With no help in sight, residents resulted to pelting sachets of water at the burning building until firefighters finally arrived at the scene.
