A young female head porter, known as Kayayei has been seen struggling with a load, which was visibly heavier than she could carry.
The Kayayei was seen carrying four (4) stacks of mattresses and pillows tied at the top in the business district, Accra.
The young lady who was tired and exhausted finally dropped the mattresses and went to relax by a bus (trotro) parked in the market.
Many of these Kayayei are women and have migrated from a rural community to any of Ghana’s urban cities in search of work.
Her plight has generated conversations on X, with many feeling sorry for her plight, and sending out heartfelt messages to her.
