Market women at the Kumasi central market, have rendered and unqualified apology to Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.
The market women in a remorseful tone indicated that they had only known the New Patriotic Party (NPP) growing up as they (NPP) “claimed to be one of us.”
According to her, traders in Kumasi ignored all the good former President Mahama did them when he was in office, and supported the NPP.
“We ignored all the good you did for the entire Ashanti Region. We supported the NPP but look at how they’ve failed us,” a spokesperson for the group submitted at the launch of the NDC’s women’s manifesto in Kumasi.
They begged John Mahama to let sleeping dogs lie and forgive them for their trespasses.
