Black Stars Coach, Otto Addo has come under severe and harsh criticism both virtually and in person for his poor coaching style.
The former player, who was with the team in their first world cup appearance in 2006, took over the affairs of the team during the recent world cup in Qatar. The team’s performance was nothing to write home about. He left the team and finally returned to take over from Chris Houghton with tasks of qualifying the Black Stars to both the 2025 AFCON and 2026 world Cup.
The former player scout at Dortmund seems to have had his game tactics on the wrong side as the Ghanaian team continues their woeful display, resulting in their elimination from the qualifiers after managing just three points from six games. This results has left many Ghanaians including journalists to question his worth and weight to lead the team.
In a recent development, the Coach during a post-match conference has clashed with a journalist who questioned Otto Addo’s coaching performance to his scouting duties at Dortmund in Germany. He shared that, the Black Stars Coach was better off a scout than a coach.
Meanwhile Otto Addo shared that, he had coaches for the past twelve years and been tasked with scouting duties at Dortmund for only six months before the Stars Job. He then questioned the Journalist to decipher who he was after twelve years of coaching and six months of scouting.
