Ghanaian-born German international football star, Gerald Asamoah has bid farewell to over 40 doctors and nurses from the Gerald Asamoah Foundation in Germany.
In a viral spotted on social media, Gerald Asamoah was captured bidding farewell to the doctors and nurses at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) as they prepare to head back home to Germany.
Over 40 doctors and nurses from the Gerald Asamoah Foundation in Germany stormed Ghana last week for their annual free open heart surgery program.
After a successful open-heart surgery program, benefiting 28 children through the Gerald Asamoah Foundation.
The estimated operational cost is detailed to be €250,000 (GH¢4.4 million)
The charity initiative is championed by a Ghanaian-born German international football star, Gerald Asamoah.
Each year, the Foundation embarks on a journey to Ghana as an act of giving back to Gerald Asamoah’s country of his birth.
