Some voters in the Effutu Constituency in the Central Region have been seen swearing oaths after allegedly taking Ghc1,000, and pledging to vote for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate in the area, Alexander Afenyo-Markin.

In the video, the constituents in the dead of the night were seen in a secluded area swearing with an oath of allegiance to the MP with a bottle of gin.
Some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who had defected to the NPP were also seen swearing the oath to vote for the MP.
