A disturbing video of the Free SHS food served at Nsawora Senior High School has surfaced on social media platform X.
The viral video was shared by Venessa Edotom Boateng, a broadcast Journalist with Metro TV has since sparked widespread outrage among netizens, over the quality of food being served to SHS students.
The shocking incident showed students having Gari served with soup for lunch, due to the alleged shortage of food items from the Free SHS Secretariat.
The Nsawora Senior High School is in the Western North Region near Sefwi Wiawso – Sefwi Akontombra District. The school was established in 2017 with the first batch of students reporting on 23rd October 2017.
Senior High School across the country continues to battle with serious food shortages, with students being forced to eat the same meals up to three times daily.
Earlier this week there was a report Students of the Nandom Boys Senior High School in the Upper West Region are protesting the food shortage in their schools.
The students mostly dressed in their white shirts and Khaki trousers were heard continuously shouting saying, “No Food, No prep”.
