Ghanaian business mogul Osei Kwame Despite, laid his late mother-in-law to rest in a gold casket this weekend, following her passing a few weeks ago.
In preparation for the funeral, her body was transported in a helicopter, housed in an elegant casket, to Mamponteng, where the final rites was held today Saturday, October 12, 2024.
After the service held in Accra, her remains of were transported to Mamponteng, near Kumasi, for her final burial and funeral ceremonies.
A video shared on UTV’s Instagram captures the emotional moment as a golden casket, containing her remains, was flown in by helicopter and received by grieving family members.
Osei Kwame Despite, his wife Awurama Osei, and a large crowd watched as pallbearers carried the casket to a waiting hearse.
Many mourners broke down in tears as Mrs. Opoku-Acheampong’s remains were placed in the vehicle to be transported.
