Veteran Ghanaian singer dancer has made a controversial statement regarding Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stating that Bawumia “has no brain”.
In an interview seen on X he told blogger, Zionfelix, how he would have preferred Bawumia becoming president however his lies and past mistakes will not allow him.
His remarks seem to stem from his dissatisfaction with Bawumia’s performance and policies.
“Looking at how our cedi has depreciated I’ll sit back and want to blame Kennedy Agyapong because he has always been in support of every bad decision they’ve made. This man said he was going to arrest the dollar and make it better and we believed him because it was what we were looking for and we voted for him when he came and didn’t do anything”.
“Now he comes back to say he’ll digitalize everything so, you can tell that there’s no brain in this man’s head. You can see he has no vision because he will lie and I don’t even know where the lie comes from” Slim Busta lamented.
The criticism comes at a time when Bawumia, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, is already facing scrutiny for various political and economic decisions
Despite these and other personal attacks, Dr. Bawumia has remained steadfast, asserting that insults won’t deter him from serving Ghana.
He believes that such negative comments are expected in politics but won’t distract him from his agenda of national development.
