The Ghana Police Service is enroute to destroy two hundred and fifty (250) sacks of marijuana commonly referred to as ‘wee’.
The sacks of wee were split into two (2) police trucks is headed to Bundase, a surburb around Tema.
The sacks of wee will be disposed off under the watch of police officials, the press and other stakeholders at the Army Peace Operations Training School (APOTS) of the Ghana Armed Forces in Bundase.
In popular practice, the Ghana Police Service as part of efforts to combat drug trafficking and usage in Ghana regularly haul narcotics seized during operations to be destroyed in compliance with their mandate.
