Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin arrived in parliament in grand style.
Currently, all eyes are on the Ghana’s parliament today, with Speaker Bagbin undoubtedly being the most powerful man in Ghana today
Speaker Bagbin was escorted to parliament with a convoy of one lead motorbike and a four (4) V8 Landcruiser’s.
Tensions are high between the NDC and NPP ahead of parliamentary sitting today, October 22, 2024. Ahead of the today’s sitting, the Speaker described the NDC as the Majority group following the declaration of 4 seats vacant.
The former Majority group, the NPP took the speaker’s decision to Supreme Court, which put a stay on the speaker’s decision.
The Speaker has also filed an appeal at the Supreme Court to stay its orders regarding Parliament’s ruling to declare four parliamentary seats vacant.
