The running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has stated again voting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a Muslim is haram.
According to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the NDC does not like Muslims and broke down the number one Mosque in Accra and named it Rawlings Park while Dr. Bawumia has rehabilitated 21 mosques.
Speaking on a campaign platform he detailed saying, “NDC they don’t like Muslims, they only use Muslims for vote, listen I say what, the NDC they only use Muslims for vote”.
Matthew Opoku noted that “Dr. Bawumia himself has rehabilitated 21 Mosques, but listen to the history of Ghana, the only political party that broke down Mosques and broke down the number one Mosque in Accra is the NDC”.
“When they broke down the Mosque in Accra they called it Rawlings Park, when they broke down the Mosque in Koforidua they used it as a garbage land, that is the NDC for you”, he stated.
“Meanwhile, they vote highest for NDC, that is why I say if you are a Muslim and you take your thumb and you go and vote instead for Samual Abu Jinapor and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and you make a mistake and you vote for NDC it is Haram”, he added.
Napo added, “When President Kufuor built the Jubilee House for all presidents and President Mills and Mahama came they said Jubilee House was near Nima so they would not leave there, who live in Nima, Zongo people, for 8 years they never lived in the Jubilee house because the Jubilee House was near Zongo, and Zongo is Muslim”.
