Broadcast Journalist and the host of Johnnie’s Bite on 3FM, Johnnie Beresford Hughes has urged Ghanaians to vote out members of parliament who do not represent and speak up for them in parliament.
Johnnie Hughes noted Ghanaians who still vote for members of parliament who do not represent or speak up for them there is something wrong with them and must be investigated
Speaking on his program Johnnie’s Bite on 3FM, he said, “Your parliamentarian doesn’t care, and you want to continue to vote for a parliamentarian of that nature, he doesn’t represent your interest, he does not care, are you kidding me, you are so stuck in your partisanship that the parliamentarian who doesn’t speak up for you”.
“So, you have a parliamentarian like Sam Nartey George in Ningo Prampram who is speaking up for his people, a parliamentarian like Alexander Afenyo-Markin who is speaking up for his people in Effutu, you have a parliamentarian like Annoh Dompreh who is speaking up for his people, a parliamentarian like Clement Apaak, a parliamentarian like Governs Kwame Agbodza in Adaklu, a parliamentarian like Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa” he added.
Johnnie Hughes further reiterated, “And your parliamentarian does not speak up for you and you still want to elect that person there is something wrong with you, you have to be investigated, your parliamentarian does not speak up for you, he is never present, and never available, and yet you say because he is wearing my party color, I have to vote for my parliamentarian there is a problem with you”.
