A viral video of Bryan Acheampong, the Minister for Food and Agriculture and member of Parliament for Abetifi being allegedly dragged to the floor has surfaced on social media.
In the viral video that surfaced after Bryan Acheampong claimed during a campaign rally that the NPP has the Eastern region under lockdown.
In the viral video, there was a commotion in Bryan Acheampong constituency with a woman shouting in the video Honorable has fallen, a man was later seen standing with his hand held high.
According to Bryan Acheampong, any miscreant who attempts to disrupt the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) anticipated victory would face severe consequences.
Speaking at a campaign rally in the Eastern Region, he stated, “The voting would be done in peace, the collation of the results would also be done in peace, and the NPP would be declared winners in peace. But any person who calls himself a man, or a man who would be wearing women’s clothing, who comes to spoil the win of the NPP would have himself to blame”.
“Any person who would try to spoil the win of the NPP would have himself to blame. I can assure you (NPP) that we have had a great campaign, and we have put measures in place and so let no one be afraid”, he added.
Bryan Acheampong further emphasized, “Let no one be afraid; we have put measures in place. The Eastern Region is under lockdown. The Eastern Region is under lockdown, and if you dare come here, we will give you a showdown. The victory is under lockdown. If you come and fool in the Eastern Region, we are going to give you a showdown.”
