A viral video of a branded mackerel with the image of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate and the member of parliament for Awutu Senya East has surfaced on social media.
In the video, Dr. Bawumia and Hawa Koomson were spotted on the branded mackerel, with Bawumia’s slogan boldly written on it and Hawa Toaso 2024.
According to the narrator in the video, she noted the NPP government is frustrated and asked if they are expecting Ghanaians to eat just one mackerel for four years.
She asserted that the NPP is using mackerel to hoodwink our mothers into voting for them.
Political parties in Ghana particularly the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are noted for the branding of products in their party colors ahead of major elections.
