Nigerian pastor U.O. Miracle has in a sermon that has sparked controversy both in church and online discussed his thoughts on the significance of tithing in Christianity.
According to the man of God, christians who fail to pay tithes will be very needy both on earth and in heaven.
Pastor Miracle went on to emphasize that people who do not pay their tithe, could still make it to heaven, but their spiritual journey might come with struggles and discomfort.
“You will be very poor in this world but you’ll still get to heaven. If you’re a tither you will go to heaven in Abraham pattern” he added.
He disclosed that there are only two ways to get to heaven either by being a poor man and following Lazarus’ pattern of by following Abraham’s pattern leaving his congregation to decide with which pattern they would want to follow.
