In a battle of fares, a Whiteman has battled it out with an Okada rider, refusing to pay him a fare of Ghc70.00
According to accounts, the Whiteman who was going to Legon Medical Center picked an Okada, hoping to beat traffic jam and get to his destination on time.
Upon picking the Okada, the Whiteman asked the rider if he knew the way to the destination which the rider answered in the affirmative.
However, later developments showed that the Okada rider did not know the Legon Medical Center, taking several wrong routes which the Whiteman looked on quietly.
After many wrong turns, the Okada rider finally dropped off the man at Lakeside Estates, and upon request of his fare of Ghc70.00, the Whiteman refused to pay him which led to an altercation.
It is suspected that the Whiteman believes the Okada rider knew his way around town, but only chose to use a long and winding road just to rip him off.
