Video: Shatta Wale ‘forces’ Bawumia to speak pidgin

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has brought out a side of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia which most Ghanaians had never seen.

In a meeting with the entertainment industry, Shatta Wale sought to know the NPP’s plan for the youth on the streets and those in the ghetto.

Before Dr. Bawumia could even attempt to answer the question, Shatta Wale pleaded with him in a jovial manner to give his response in pidgin English, with the whole room erupting in applause and laughter.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is known for speaking ‘big grammar’ so many present were eager to here his response. The NPP Presidential Candidate gave his response in pidgin to the surprise and admiration of those present.
