Ghanaian Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu, has advised pastors in Ghana stay away from politics and stick to prophesying.
According to the actor, the number of pastors getting involved in politics is alarming and he fears that it could create confusion among their congregations.
Speaking in a recent interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, the actor said, “These days, some pastors have turned into political campaigners. In the past, if a pastor received a message or revelation about someone, they would simply share it, leaving the individual to decide whether to believe it or not. But now, pastors are openly supporting political parties, and this is causing divisions within churches”.
He went on to advise pastors not to affiliate themselves with political parties but instead focus on guiding their members.
Kwaku Manu also advised the youth to avoid violence in the upcoming December 7 elections.
“My advice to the youth is to steer clear of any destructive behavior during the elections because it could lead to loss of life,” he warned.
