Curses and deaths – Fetish Priests Association to protest against galamsey

The Fetish Priests Association of Ghana led by their President, Kwaku Bonsam, has threatened a nationwide protest against illegal mining(galamsey).

According to them their protest will be followed by unexplained curses and deaths of the culprits involve in galamsey within two weeks.

The Fetish Priest Association revealed they have over 2000 members across the country.

Speaking in an interview with Kasapa FM they disclosed saying, “we are very angry, when it is time for our protest will be followed by curses within two weeks one week something must happen, we are very serious, we will talk to the gods that we are very serious”.

Meanwhile, a three-day anti-galamsey protest ended last night on 5 October 2024 with a vigil. With the final day of the protest calling for the end of galamsey and the release of some 53 democracy hub protesters arrested two weeks ago.
