A UK Policeman is in hot water for trying to smuggle a Ghanaian child of popular Ghanaian socialite and singer Hajia4real into the UK.
According to the information gathered the UK Policeman knew the child’s mother Hajia4real was facing extradition on serious fraud charges and has been identified as Mrs. C in the case.
The Policeman has been identified as Bright Shine-Sedziafa of the West Area Command unit. He has been found guilty of gross misconduct after a Metropolitan Police hearing that uncovered his role in facilitating the child’s entry and forging border documents.
Confidence Haugen, a 40-year-old boyfriend of “Hajia4Reall” by the name Richard Quaye, believed to be the owner of Quick Angels Limited has been caught up in the smuggling case.
The facts presented uncovered a network of coordination involving the UK Policeman Shine-Sedziafa, his wife, Ms Confidence Haugen (his cousin), Mrs C, her boyfriend – Mr. Richard Quaye, and the child’s grandmother.
WhatsApp chats between the group detailed their plans, including pictures of expired passports and a draft minor travel permission form. A £800 and 1,300 Ghanaian cedis payment was traced to the Policeman Shine-Sedziafa to cover the immigration expenses.
They managed to enter the UK via Amsterdam upon their arrival, UK officials identified concerns about the documents and questioned the policeman Shine-Sedziafa and his wife, who had arrived to receive the child.
Mona Faiz Montrage alias “Hajia4Reall a popular Ghanaian socialite and singer,” was sent to prison for a year and one day for her involvement in a romance scam in June, this year.
Hajia4Real was arrested in the UK on November 11, 2022, after participating in the Ghana Music Awards UK. She was subsequently extradited to the US in May 2023, to face prosecution.
